Your first plane trip is always the worst from not knowing what to do or where to go or just a fear of flying or moreover the fear of crashing. This in its self is enough to prevent a person from taking the dive and getting far from home. For me I had the help of a loved one who traveled before so they were able to guide me though the somewhat confusing landscape of the terminals, security, onto the plane and into my seat.  I decided to pick the window seat so I could look out and take some pictures as the landscape melded from trees and hills to flat squares of farmland to ridged snow-capped mountains and finally the red sands of the desert. Although I loved watching the typography change I think I liked the leg room more and so now I almost always choose the isle, especially for the 5 hour + flights. Once on the ground we continued out of the airport to an uber and eventually down to the strip to Planet Hollywood (the hotel we stayed at). Once we got unpacked we all had few drinks.. then after a few days we got back onto the plane and made our journey home. As they say what happens in Vegas.. But seriously there was so much to do, and I only scratched the surface. Among the things I got to do was had the best food of my life at bobby flay's mesa grill, payed respects at the victims of the Vegas shooting in 2017, seen the animals and sharks in the zoo at Mandalay Bay, won 400$ at various casinos, walked the strip seeing various street sales people and performers, and buying so much booze on every street corner I had no idea what to do with myself. watched the Bellagio Water Show.  It was an extremely fun time with some of the best people in my life and I look forward to going back and exploring more.
